German Krupp Artillery Tractor in 1/72...

...No. 51 in the First to Fight magazine series

Coupled with a magazine, 'First to Fight', this is number 51 in the series.  This time we have the standard  artillery tractor version of the Kfz69, as used by the Wehrmacht.  The magazine is in Polish language though does contain a good selection of archive photos.  The kit itself is very neat.  The chassis has the axles all moulded integrally within the single part, so once the wheels are on everything sits squarely without any effort.  The engine firewall and bonnet fit neatly in place, as does the rear bodywork.  Add details such as the ammunition box stowage, the rear rifle rack and spare wheel for the 37mm Pak 36 which this would normally tow.  On the front, fit the bumper, headlights and width indicators and there you have it.  Assembly is quick and easy, it just leaves the model to be painted.  Transfers for a selection of different registration numbers are included.

I bought mine through Tiger Hobbies here in the UK.
