Military Model Scene

The M1078 is a series of tactical trucks in service with the US Military.  It is done in a number of variants and is used in large numbers.  I was fortunate to be able to visit Fort Benning in Georgia in 2013 while attending an AMPS Show in Atlanta.  As well as this basic cab example in the three colour camouflage, there were also cand coloured examples in the vehicle park which were fitted with the armoured cab, also pictured here.

Hopefully these will help the modeller making one of the excellent Trumpeter kits of these trucks with detail of fittings, weathering and colours.
