British Cromwell in 1/72 scale...

...3 kits for the wargames market in the one box, from The Plastic Soldier Company

The Plastic Soldier Company have a recent release in their series of 1/72 wargamers models with this new one of the Cromwell.  Three complete models in the box and you can build the basic gun tank either with or without the Normandy cowl on the back of the engine deck and the option of fitting the hedgerow prongs on the front.  The other alternative is to fit the turret with the 95mm close support howitzer.  A single sprue holds all the kit parts and there are three of these sprues in the box, one for each model.  The track units are one piece items, so nice and simple for assembly.  Fit of parts has proved to be good.  With the turret, as well as the choice of main gun, there is a choice of open or closed commander's cupola along with a half figure to put in it.  They are quick and easy to build, ideal for the wargamer in particular when they want multiple examples for their gaming units.  I also think these are good for youngsters and can hopefully encourage more to take up the hobby of AFV modelling.  To end up with three complete models, easy enough to build, all from the one box is an attractive option I think.  Good for presents maybe?...

There are no transfers included in the kit, but the Plastic Soldier Company do have a handy range of transfers available separately so you can choose your preferred units markings.
