Military Model Scene

A recent release from the Plastic Soldier Company is another addition to their series of 15mm scale model vehicles.  In this instance we get five complete models in the box, of the CMP 15cwt GS (General Service) truck.  The one option you have is either to fit the tilt or not. In doing this the  small cut outs at the rear inside edge of the tilt, which will fit over the ends of the tailgate are not quite long enough for a perfect fit, which is a contrast to the rest of the kit which goes together a treat.  Fortunately this isn't difficult to resolve and the end result fits nicely.  The cab has the windows moulded solid, so there is no additional detail inside the cab but in this scale that is common.

In the two photos below you can see the 5 assembled trucks from the box, two with the tilts left off.  There are no transfers included int he kit, but the Plastic Soldier Company do have a fine range of transfers available separately so you can choose your preferred units markings.

This is a growing range of models and not only proving popular but with some very neat little kits that will make up into a fine collection, even if you are not into wargaming.  For the gamer, then with 5 per box, this is great for building up your units.
